A security researcher has found that a variety of Android, Blackberry and Nokia phones come installed with a piece of software that logs everything you do on your phone, remembering and sending every key stroke. As more and more important work, financial transactions, banking etc is now being done on the move with Smart Phones you should have the right to expect that your privileged information stays on your handset and doesn’t get into the hands of a 3rd party without your express consent.
See his video here.
If you have an Android handset I’d recommend you root your device, back it up, install a custom ROM and restore your data.
There are many ROM’s to choose from but the ones I like are Cyanogen Mod 7.1 and MIUI.
